I called 4 times, asking to speak to a florist, and every time I was told she was out of the office, but they would take my question and have her call me back within the next 2-3 days. I did that four times, and never once got a response. I wasn't asking a hard question either, just simply if their supplier would be able to get anemones for an October wedding. I didn't get a yes or a no, I got nothing, and ended up going with Lee's Floral Shop because I didn't see very many other options that were near by. Although I know this company does beautiful work, I would never give my money to a company that treats potential customers this way.
The plant varieties are great and the people there helpful. My biggest issue with the place is the price of the plants compared to other places is way too much for me. I've found plants that have worked great for far cheaper prices.
We hired them to do some landscaping. Purchased over 60 plants/trees. In less than a year, over 20% of the plants they installed died. (The company that did the installation was Three Men and a Shovel. They are owned by Freckle Farms.) We notified Freckle Farms and they said they would make good. Nothing happened. Contacted them again a few months later. Again they said they would make good. Still nothing. We kept going back and forth with them for over a year. No results. Totally unprofessional. Apparently, once they have your money, you might as well forget their guarantee.
Cutest nursery and store. They have a wide variety of plants, helpful and kind staff, and a lovely home decor selection. Go in and buy some succulents, dirt, rocks, and a jar and make your own little terrarium!
Really cool local business. Their prices and selection are just as good, if not better than other big national chain stores. I've bought quite a few plants & planters from Freckle Farm and they have all been very nice. On my last visit I found a huge cactus that I wanted to buy for my office. When I asked a couple questions about it the girl that was working said she really wouldn't feel comfortable selling it to me because it wasn't super healthy at the time and she didn't want to risk selling me a plant that could have any problems in the future. The cactus was $320 and they wouldn't sell it to me! That's pretty impressive. Most people would do anything to get a sale that large, but I was so impressed at how up-front they were. They even went the extra mile to take down my information and let me know when the cactus was back up to health so that I could come buy it. On top of that they sold me another cactus, planter and stand at a big discount. Super awesome to work with. Can't recommend them enough.
