My family and I eat only Appenzell eggs. They are the best. Every product, that we've gotten from this friendly farm has been wonderful.
We joined the vegetable CSA last year and received a full share during the season. We were extremely impressed with the product, the amount of food we received, the quality, and the professionalism practiced at this business.
I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't believe there would actually be that much of a difference between the products (eggs, chicken) I bought at the grocery store and the products Appenzell offered. Boy was I wrong! After eating the eggs and chicken from Appenzell I never want to go back to the eggs and chicken I was eating before. Seriously, Appenzell's products are amazingly fresh and delicious! I even ended up buying a rabbit from them because I had been so impressed with their chicken, and once again, I was crazy impressed. I would recommend this farm to anyone and everyone.
Appenzell Farm is doing everything right! We absolutely love their farm fresh eggs and also purchase a whole chicken CSA. You can definitely not find chicken like this at the supermarket. Their chicken tastes much better than what you would get from the big box chicken producers. Appenzell is well worth the extra money spent because you are not only supporting local, but you are supporting sustainability!
The vegetable share offered wonderful variety, recipes, and flexible pick up schedule. The food was fresh and beautiful.
